If you work for King’s and have policies, procedures or other governance documents which you wish to add to Policy Zone, the Governance Team would like to hear from you.
Please note that to be suitable for inclusion in Policy Zone, a document must be:
- Relevant to the entire College, e.g. a policy or procedure which affects all students or staff. Documents which only apply to an individual school or department should not be placed in Policy Zone, which is intended as a College-wide resource. Use the school or department’s webpages instead.
- Suitable for publication on the external website. In the interests of transparency and accountability, no restrictions are placed on access to items in Policy Zone. Policy Zone should therefore not be used for items which are only suitable for internal access. However, very few policy documents or procedures will have this type of sensitivity.
- Of sufficient importance. Routine forms and similar “low level” documents, on their own, will not usually be added to Policy Zone; although they may be added if they form part of a procedure or are required for other purposes (e.g. institutional audit).
- Available in electronic form. Documents will normally be converted to PDF for delivery to users.
The Governance Team may refuse to include an item if these criteria are not met.
